About Metalrite
Metalrite was established in 1981 by Ed Nelms in Dallas Texas. After outgrowing the original facility, the company moved to Irving Texas.
In 1995 the company was acquired by Robert Nelms and Dale Murdock. Robert and Dale started fabricating stainless steel products and Metalrite craftsmen became very skilled at producing quality, high-end stainless steel products primarily to the architectural market. It was then that the company rapidly grew.
In 1998 Metalrite moved to the current location in Grand Prairie Texas. To keep up with demand, the facility has gone through two expansions and additional equipment has been acquired.
Metalrite now produces many types of metal fabricated products using various materials and finishes. These include structural steel, brass, bronze, aluminum, stainless steel, tubing, sheet metal and glass.
